Why did I choose Permanent Makeup as my career?

I first came across permanent makeup at just 14. I was so taken back by the impact it had on women, from transforming their makeup physically, but healing them mentally.

This changed my thoughts completely on how I viewed my working future. The thought of potentially working in permanent makeup circled through my brain weekly.

Now at the age of 21, I get to be the change that so many women's lives need.

What do I love about being a Permanent Makeup Artist?

Being a Permanent Makeup Artist feels like one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. I meet new women everyday, all with different worries and insecurities.

I get to work 1 on 1 with these amazing people and we discuss their need for change. From that moment after every consultation, I see a glimpse of what all women truly want. Confidence.

Whether I'm doing a full brow transformation with an older lady, that has lost the majority of her eyebrow hair with age. Or I'm providing a lady with lip blush to define her cupid's bow for a fuller, more natural look.

Every day is different and that's what I love. It's quite like nothing I've ever done before. Everyday has a bittersweet feeling to it, knowing that somebody else gets to experience permanent makeup and all its perks.

From choosing the perfect shade of pink to contour the lips, to deciding on the right style of eyebrow. It's endless.

There's permanent makeup for absolutely everyone. Natural and fair, Bold and vibrant and classy but effective. No matter your age, skin tone or hair colour, we can alter it to your style and preference. That truly is the magic of it all.

Why am I so passionate?

New faces, new smiles and endless possibilities. What's not to love?

One thing I have learnt so far on my journey as a Permanent Makeup Artist is that everyone has a story; we all have something that unites us as one. Whether grief, love or insecurity, we are all human.

We may not all wear our makeup the same, but the desire for change is mutual.

I get to provide women with the confidence to do things they never thought were possible. I have people come to me so embarrassed of things out of their control; that many other women struggle with.

They come back to me for their 6 week top-up appointment, a completely different person. They're radiating, it's so inspirational. It makes me want everyone else to get hold of this feeling.

Everyone deserves to feel beautiful and youthful — because age truly is just a number.

I'm blessed enough to bring people happiness and most importantly security within themselves. It's sensational what permanent makeup can bring to so many women, including yourself.

What's so amazing about being a Permanent Makeup Artist?

What's so amazing you ask? My job is to enhance everyone's beauty, whilst making it waterproof and long-lasting. I get paid to do this in gratitude and smiles as well as money. It truly is a win, win.

A job you want to wake up for is a great one in my opinion. I look forward to my days of work as it truly never gets boring! My days are full of chat and laughter, which almost feels impossible.

A job that never really felt like working days to me, still doesn't feel real. I enjoy my clients before and after results just as much as they do. Their transformations never get old!

But one of the more personal benefits is that my art gets to excel whilst my skills get to grow. I look forward to a long and wonderful journey of being a Permanent Makeup Artist.

Love to all that have supported me so far and the clients who have become my friends along the way.
